Meet Dr. Levinson Gal

Dr. Laura Levinson Gal is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She graduated from The Chicago Medical School in 1994 and completed her residency in Primary Care Pediatrics at New York University and Bellevue Hospital Center in 1997.
After additional fellowship training in General Academic Pediatrics, Dr. Levinson Gal held academic positions at Temple University Children’s Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center. In 2022, she opened Pediatrics of Whitestone to provide personalized, high-quality pediatric care. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, as well as knitting, cooking, baking, and walking her dogs. ​

What to Expect At Your Visit

We strive to ensure your family feels at ease. Here’s what to expect for a seamless experience:

Appointments

Patients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Ages 16–18 may attend alone with written permission.

Check-In 

Bring your insurance card and update contact details upon arrival.

Well Visits 

Height, weight, and vitals will be checked. Depending on age, vision, hearing, and urine tests may be required. Loose clothing is recommended. At 13+, the doctor may speak with and examine your child alone.

Immunizations & Labs 

Given as needed, with only the doctor or nurse answering vaccine-related questions. Lab work is available on-site.

Urgent & Follow-up Visits

Loose, comfortable clothing is best. The doctor may ask your child to change into a gown. In-office rapid tests are available.
